Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek is the most famous route in the southern foothills of the Annapurna massif. At the same time preparation day, we explore Kathmandu which is one of the historical cities in Nepal and home to many of the cultural UNESCO heritage sites. Kathmandu day tour takes a day to complete and offers the Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
The trek is 10 days long and starts with a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The trek heads north as you trek past Ulleri to reach Ghorepani village. From Poonhill, you get to see the sunrise over the mountains in Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. Machhapuchhre (6997 m), Mardi Himal (5553 m), and Lamjung Himal (7454 m).

Your arrival in Kathmandu will be marked by landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). A company representative of Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. Evening you can meet the participants and the trek members. Drive From Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m) 8-9 Hours. (B)

Admission Ticket FreeThis drive will take most of our morning time after breakfast leaving much of the afternoon to get a warming glimpse of Pokhara Valley and fall in love with its ethereal beauty. Pokhara is the tourist’s paradise full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, Buddhist and Hindu temples along with the magnificent views of mountains. You can observe the glistening white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Evening you can walk around the Fewa lake. From Nayapul, you start a 4-5 hour trek, first walking gently to Birethanti (1025m) and then ascending gradually to Tikhedhunga (1577m). The final stretch involves a steep climb up 3,200 stone steps to reach Ulleri (1827m). Upon arrival, you'll stay in a local teahouse, enjoy a hearty dinner, and take in the panoramic mountain views. Trek From Ulleri to Ghorepani (2860m) 5-6 Hours. (B/L/D)

Admission Ticket FreeThe trek from Ulleri (1827m) to Ghorepani (2860m) takes about 5-6 hours, covering an elevation gain of 1033 meters. The trail ascends through lush rhododendron forests, passing through the villages of Banthanti and Nangethanti. After lunch in Nangethanti, you continue climbing until you reach Ghorepani, known for its stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Trek From Ghorepani to Tadapani (2675m) Via Poon Hill (3210m) 6-7 Hours. (B/L/D)

Admission Ticket FreeToday is one of the most important days of the Ghorepani poonhill trek and the best part of the trek. The total duration of the trek for the day is about 6-7 hours. Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3210m) allows you to enjoy the sunrise amazing view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III (7855m), Machhapuchhare (6993m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna II (7937m), Lamjung Himal (6931m) and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. After breakfast, we continue our trek to another beautiful Tadapani village. En-route, you will frequently see waterfalls, rocks, wild animals, local birds, and green vegetation. Trek From Tadapani to Pokhara via Ghandruk (1950m) 7-8 Hours. (B/L)

Admission Ticket FreeIt is an easy descent all the way, passing through the dense forest of oak, rhododendrons, and fir. Today is the easy and short walk but you will have enough time to explore the Ghandruk village during the day time. This is one of the popular destinations for bird lovers. Ghandruk is a picturesque Gurung village famous for its culture and traditional local houses and warm hospitality. You can enjoy the great mountains views and the Gurung settlements. After lunch at Ghandruk we continue our trek to Pokhara. Your trek is a steep descent following the stone staircase to Kimbu (Beehive). Kimbu or Beehive is located at the elevation of 1200 meters on the bank of Modi Khola. Following the river with deep valley and pony trail. Drive From Pokhara to Kathmandu By Tourist Bus 8-9 Hours. (B/D)
