Noboribetsu Hell Valley
Located on the northeastern side of the Noboribetsu Onsen area in Hokkaido,
Jigokudani (Hell Valley) is a crater about 450 meters in diameter formed after
the eruption of Mount Hiyori. The valley is dotted with numerous geothermal
fumaroles, continuously spewing out high-temperature steam and natural hot
springs. Its barren and unique sulfurous landscape resembles the legendary
hell, hence the name "Jigokudani" (Hell Valley).
Usuyama Ropeway
Mt. Usu is a world-renowned active volcano, with four recorded eruptions
during the 20th century. Taking the cable car to the top offers a panoramic
view of the Mt. Usu Geopark around Lake Toya, with the lake, volcano, and
distant mountains all within a single frame, creating a breathtaking vista.
Bear Ranch
The ranch is located next to the entrance of Showa Shinzan Ropeway and houses
nearly a hundred purebred Hokkaido brown bears. Brown bears are the largest
native wild animals in Hokkaido, and visitors can hand-feed them. When the
bears see food, they will stand up and wave their paws to beg for it, looking
incredibly cute and amusing.
Lake Hill Farm, Mount Yotei
Mount Yotei, with its shape resembling Mount Fuji, is known as "Ezo Fuji" and
is often called the "Little Fuji of Hokkaido." The mountain is majestic and
imposing. From the farm's observation deck, one can enjoy an unobstructed view
of the entire Mount Yotei landscape, complemented by the scenery of Lake Toya,
creating a truly soothing and photogenic vista.
Lake Toya Observatory
Lake Toya is a crater lake formed by a volcanic eruption. The lake is wide and
clear, with three lush green islands in its center. From the silo observation
deck, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire lake, Mt. Usu and the Showa
Shinzan volcanic group. On a clear day, you can also see Mt. Yotei in the
distance. The scenery is beautiful in every season.
Dingshan Creek
Known as the "back garden of Sapporo," it's just an hour's drive from Sapporo
and boasts high-quality natural hot springs, offering picturesque scenery
year-round. In autumn, the mountains are ablaze with vibrant red leaves,
making it a renowned autumn foliage viewing spot in Hokkaido. In winter, it
features Sapporo's largest ski resort, allowing visitors to enjoy snow
activities and soak in hot springs to beat the chill, offering a rich and
relaxing experience.
Snow World Toya (Lake Toya Snow Park)
This winter-only snow park offers thrilling snowmobile rides at your own
expense, with panoramic views of the majestic Mount Yotei. Clear blue skies,
pristine powder snow, verdant pines, and rolling snow-capped mountains create
a soothing winter wonderland, allowing you to immerse yourself in the joys of
snow in Hokkaido.

I like the tour guy, Jenny. She gives us the first impression is friendly, bright and positive which is impotant when we meet her in the morning. She also help to take photos and provide a lot of useful information about our tour.
