On day two of your 3-day trip from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga desert, your adventure continues as you explore the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge, the captivating Dades Valley, and Ouarzazate’s film-worthy landscapes and historic kasbahs. Your final day sees you crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains and visiting the iconic Ait Ben Haddou before arriving in the vibrant city of Marrakech. This whirlwind tour encapsulates the incredible diversity of Morocco’s landscapes, cultural heritage, and the sheer magic of the Sahara Desert.
Itinerary

DAY 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou –Midalt– Ziz Valley –Arfoud – Merzouga Camel Trekking.
We will pick you up at your hotel/riad and will leave Fes travelling towards Ifran, a beautiful mountains village, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” and then on to Midelt. During this journey you'll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest - the largest in Morocco - where you may well sight Barbary apes. After sometime within the forest, your journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas, after Midelt town you will be travelling through the fascinating Tizi N'talghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau, you'll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia, here you will have lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality. Afterwards, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrive at Merzouga on the afternoon. You'll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you camel ride, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the golden sand sea of Merzouga. Dinner in front of the tent where you will spend the night.
DAY2: Merzouga – Rissani –Tinjdad –Todra Gorges – Dades Valley.
We will get up early to witness the magic sunrise from the dunes. After having a delicious Berber breakfast you will get back by camel to Merzouga and get prepared to leave by car towards Tinghir to see the Todra Gorges. In our way, we will halt in Rissani to visit Moulay Ali Cherif mausoleum. Then we will pass through numerous small Berber villages, like Jorf, which is well known by its palm trees, Mellaab and Tinjdad. We will drive up a bit further to Dades Gorges, passing through a fabulous sight made of mountains formed like monkey-fingers and set off to see the panoramic view of Dades Gorges road. Then, we will finally arrive to the Dades Valley where we will have dinner and spend the night at a riad/hotel.
DAY3 : Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Hadou – Talouat Kasbah – Marrakech.
After Breakfast, we will Pass the Rosse valley towards Dades Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through the Dades Valley is a mile from the Kasbahs, which offers numerous opportunities to take some of the best photos of the journey. We will stay in Kalaat Mgouna, the city of roses, to buy rose water, which will keep your clothes smelling well after the journey is finished. Your journey to Marrakech will continue through the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. The Kasbah was built by Ham El Glaoui, one of the nearest Berber generals of the eighteenth century, and is now the home of many Glaoui people. Your route will pass through the magnificent Tizi n'tichka (2,260m) over the Atlas Mountains before arriving at your accommodation in Marrakech.
