Misleading, commentary/tour was through the streets leading to the destination/dock, was expecting to see sights such as the San Giorgio Maggiore (view of the island), along with the others mentioned ('passing by') in the itinerary, however ended up being a 10 minute gondola ride around a block without the sights mentioned, and no commentary.
The ride was awesome. But be warned that the walk from the Venezia St Lucia train station to the gondola place (St Mark Sq) is about 2km. So you must factor in lots of time or else you will miss your gondola. You can take a water taxi but it costs about 10 euros per person. We were not aware of this. Luckily we had lots of time.
