Highlights

You will have a chance to explore the historical cities of Hebron and Ramallah. Both cities are administered by the Palestinian Authority while being isolated from Jerusalem due to Israel's construction of the 'Separation Barrier', hundreds of checkpoints, 'Israeli only' roads, and restrictions on travel into Jerusalem.

Itinerary

  • Pisgat Ze'ev(Pass by)

    Admission Ticket Free
After being picked up in Tel Aviv, the group will travel through the settlement of Pisgat Ze’ev, and then onto Ramallah, entering through the checkpoint to reach the neighborhood of Kufr Akab. The Separation Wall divides the neighborhood from Jerusalem.
  • Arafat's Tomb

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Not Included
Next, the group will visit Arafat's Tomb and walk down the streets of this busy city, which is now the de-facto Capital for Palestinians in the West Bank. ADMISSION FEE: 10 NIS
  • Ma'ale Adumim(Pass by)

    Admission Ticket Free
Once the group departs from Ramallah, we will travel through the Judean Desert, passing the settlement of Ma’ale Adumim, and Bethany, the site of the Tomb of Lazarus. We’ll travel for some of the way on a highway that is shared between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and then we will travel through Wadi al-Na'ar on roads that are restricted to Palestinians (and tourists).
  • Cave of the Patriarchs

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
The final part of our tour takes us through the southern West Bank en-route to Hebron, where we will see more Israeli settlements, Palestinian farms and villages, and learn about home demolitions and the travel restrictions that were placed upon the Palestinians living in the area. While in Hebron, the group will visit the Ibrahimi Mosque, also known as Cave of the Patriarchs, and the city's market. You will walk though the market with time for shopping.

Dress Code: Hebron is a religious city with socially conservative residents, and we ask you to respect this by dressing appropriately. The rule of thumb is that the only skin that should be showing is the face, lower arms, and hands. Basically no shorts for men or women - trousers (pants) are best for men and women - shirts closed to the neck and over the shoulders. If the weather is hot wear light loose clothing.
Travel Document: A current valid passport is required on the day of travel.
