The Cu Chi Tunnels: a secret base that the U.S. military could not conquer.
Despite suffering many casualties and being told that victory against the U.S.
military was impossible, the Viet Cong soldiers used their small stature to
their advantage, eventually forcing the U.S. military to withdraw.
- Cu Chi Tunnels
A 200km-long underground tunnel network where soldiers lived and hid during
the Vietnam War. You can watch historical videos of the Vietnam War and see
models recreating the conditions of that time to better grasp the tragedy of
the war. Experience the harsh reality of the era by entering the narrow
tunnels yourself.
Itinerary

Arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Your Japanese-speaking guide will lead the tour while explaining the history.
・Watch a documentary video about the war.
・Walk through the facility to see models of the underground tunnels (operation headquarters and guerrilla tactics) and view the traps used at the time.
・Taste guerrilla rations: cassava and pandan leaf tea.
Experience rifle shooting. (Additional fee required)
After arriving back in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be dropped off at the TNK Travel Office JAPAN.

- About visiting inside the Cu Chi Tunnels

This tour includes a tour inside a narrow underground tunnel.
You will be moving around in a bent-over position for a total of approximately 10 minutes.
Also, your clothes may get slightly dirty.
The guide will be waiting on the ground, so if you would like to decline the internal tour, please feel free to let the guide know.
*Tours of the inside of the tunnel will be guided by facility staff.
