This area is home to various wildlife, including the rare and endangered black rhinos, Grevy's zebras, and Sitatungas. In addition to endangered species, this conservancy serves as a safe haven for other African animal families such as the elephant, lion, giraffe, wild dog, and other iconic wildlife species in Kenya. In addition to these animals, the conservancy is also home to more than 400 species of birds
