Itinerary

  • Zona Arqueologica de Palenque

2 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket Included
It is one of the most interesting archaeological cities in Mexico, to know it is to discover the soul of the Mayan world; is to understand myths, rituals, beliefs and admire the majestic architecture of our ancestors. The pre-Hispanic city and the Palenque National Park were inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1987 as one of the main Mayan sites that exerted its influence on other settlements in the Usumacinta river basin. The architectural evolution of Palenque, the vast commercial network that linked it to the Mayan area as well as to other distant regions of Mesoamerica, make this place one of the most important in the Mayan world. The site is made up of more than 200 architectural structures, different in size and complexity, adapted to the topography of the terrain that extends over an area of 2.5 kilometers.
  • Cascada de Roberto Barrios

These beautiful waterfalls are little known by national and international tourists. They are located 14 km from Palenque Chiapas, 500 meters across the Roberto Barrios river bridge. It is characterized by its crystalline turquoise blue water, which allows you to see clearly what inhabits its bottom. It is surrounded by a beautiful landscape, lush and of great beauty, where you can enjoy photography, and even if you want to swim you can do it without problems, but always with caution. Small trails, in the middle of the jungle, lead you to the Roberto Barrios waterfalls, where you can be amazed and captivated by the impressive nature that the place has.
