At 06:30, we will pick you up from your hotel in Yogyakarta and begin the scenic drive to Borobudur Temple. By 09:00, we arrive at Borobudur, collect the entrance tickets, and stroll through the lush gardens before climbing the steps to reach the courtyard surrounding the temple. While access to the upper levels is restricted, the courtyard offers excellent views of the Buddha statues with different hand gestures from four directions. In the open basement, you can admire a section of the Mahakarmawibangga reliefs, which depict moral lessons of cause and effect. This area also provides the perfect spot to capture photos with the entire temple as a stunning backdrop. At 12:00, we depart Borobudur and continue the journey to Prambanan Temple, making short stops at Pawon Temple and Mendut Temple, where you can see three impressive Buddha statues before arriving at Prambanan’s majestic Hindu complex.
