Eat the classic food of the sport while watching wrestlers duke it out in front of you. Sumos are famous for eating a special kind of hot pot called chanko nabe which you can try for yourself here. Or, get the restaurant’s namesake, tonkatsu fried pork cutlets.
Once you’ve fueled up, get in the ring with a former sumo wrestler and try to win a real match. After a few rounds take some pictures together with your opponent to remember the day. Learn all about the techniques, history, and culture of sumo as well as the daily lives of the pros in a special Q&A at the end. Finish the day an expert on the most unique sport in Japan.
