ー Experience Details ー
Learn to make traditional Japanese sweets by hand. Wagashi, or Japanese
confectionery sweets, are loved for their subtle flavors. They are mainly made
from rice and plant products and are both gluten-free and vegetarian. People
in Japan tend to enjoy wagashi most when paired with a cup of green tea,
usually at traditional tea ceremonies. This hands-on experience will teach you
the detailed process of making these sweet treats from scratch. Enjoy a bit of
the history and culture associated with these delicious snacks as told by the
experts as you make two wagashi of your choice. Finally, taste your dessert
alongside some green tea during an authentic Japanese tea ceremony.
