I did a three day two night tour from Marrakesh to Fes, and the tour delivered what it promised - camel ride, dinners and breakfasts. You would have to pay for lunch - have about twelve euros (in cash) ready each time. While it seems most of the programme was subcontracted, if I had any questions, I could contact the agency at anytime and they were prompt in responding. Be prepared for long drives as you would be covering large distances. My guide Abdullah and driver Mustapha were excellent. There would be stops along the way where they will give you a tour and offer you stuff to purchase from the local cooperatives, but by a large the guide told us what to expect and we were never pressured to make a purchase. The stay in the hotel for the first night was okay, the only complaint I have was that the bed was a bit hard. The stay in the second night in a 'luxury tent' was decent. Tge dinner and breakfast offerings for the 'luxury tent' could be better. Importantly, both places had clean toilets. I had one unpleasant experience on the last day, with a different guide called Sari. He picked us from Merzouga to Fes today brought us to a place with monkeys, where people gave us nuts to feed them. It was not made clear to us that we had to pay the people who were literally forcing the nuts on us as we left the vehicle. I assumed it was included as part of the tour as in many other countries I went to it was. Sari clearly knew what was going on, when we were literally attacked by the locals and had the nuts forced on us on arrival. He did not intervene or do anything to warn us. I assume that it was something that was prearranged, as in other countries I've been to, no one would demand payment from us after being given a few cheap nuts. In the end I was forced to pay 50DH (after being shouted at for a minute). He also clearly did not speak in English very well, and spoke to me and two other German tourists as if we were idiots, but interacted amicably with the Spanish tourists. He was clearly more comfortable in speaking in Spanish. I'm okay if he does not speak English well, but to speak to us rudely and treating us like children after scamming us is no way acceptable. I informed the company of what happened and asked for compensation, and to my surprise, they refunded me the 50DH that was taken from me rather than shirking responsibility. I thought it was very professional what they did. All in all, I would recommend them. Excellent value to the price I paid, and the agency was prompt in answering my questions and took responsibility for things that happened.
