Let yourself be guided by an expert chef and famous food blogger to discover the traditional cuisine, the same food that mothers and grandmothers cooked, that still today fills with perfumes the house of the Apulian people. If you choose the option with the local market, every Tuesday, you will be guided to discover the typical products that you will buy and use together with the chef, inside a traditional Apulian trullo. Or, if you want you can experience the cooking class in any day of the week.
At the end of the cooking class, you will sit under the arbour and you will have lunch, with the chef, surrounded only by the sounds of the countryside.
Itinerary
Your tour will begin in Noci, a nice town located in the land of trulli, where you will join up with the local food blogger and chef.
The cooking class will take place in the kitchen of its authentic trullo, surrounded by nature and silence of the Apulian coutryside.
Under her guidance, you will learn how to prepare and cook some typical Apulian dishes like bread, focaccia, fava bean puree, sweet and sour red onions, boiled vegetables, fried olives, breadballs and traditional sweets (jam tart or Sporcamuss, which means “get dirty your mouth”, because the dessert is filled with cream dolce).
Anyway, you can choose the lesson that’s right for you among these:
• Basic cooking class of typical Apulian cuisine
• Basic cooking class of Apulian vegetables and legumes preparation
• Cooking class “ The sea treasures at your table”
• Cooking class “ Hands-on home made pasta”
