Itinerary
Huanghuacheng Reservoir
You will be picked up by private comfortable car with English speaking guide from your hotel. Then we will drive to original Great Wall (about 1.5 hours drive). After arrival, you will walk with guide to the wall and enjoy the peaceful scenery, and hear the birds. This is a very good way to avoid crows and time for visit is flexible, so you can decide to walk at Great wall longer or shorter according to your physical conditions. After about 2-3 hours visit, we will escort you back to your hotel or PEK airport. The whole tour will last about 6-8 hours. Original Great Wall: This Great Wall located in northern Huairou district of Beijing. It is the only lakeside Great Wall in Beijing. About 80km away from airport. It is one of the top destinations for a Great Wall hiking tour and camping base. As this part of Great Wall is more original and no cable car there, so visitors should be in good physical condition.

Wild Great Wall is very pretty and less touristy. And you can see more wild Great Wall towers on the very top of the mountain.
If you will come to Beijing with a Layover: The tour last about 5 hours, plus the time(2 hours) to get out of airport and the time(2 hours) to catch flight, so it require at least 9 hours layover to make this tour happen.
If you want to start the tour from a hotel in Beijing: Please detail your hotel name and address in the form of special request if you would like to be picked up from a hotel in Beijing; A detailed flight information is required if you would like to be picked up from airport.
This Great Wall section is very beautiful during sunset, so is better to do that in the afternoon.
