Nice Tour Enjoy alot Friendly staff

Did the tour today and was super happy with it. Was nearly not going to do it because of the 4.5 hours journey to get there and the same to get back to Athens. Read some reviews about old hot buses, but they were perfectly fine for us on a 32 degree Celsius day. I didn't get the included lunch, but one can buy snacks or a full lunch at the restaurant they stopped at, if they don't want the included lunch option. People are welcome to sit and use the restrooms there too, while others ate their lunch. I was also happy with our guide was Clement and the driver was Charalambus. Clement was friendly, helpful and gave us lots of information on the history and geology of Meteora and about the Greek Orthodox Christian religion. There was also ample time at the photo stops and monastery. I don't think anyone felt rushed, and we all still got to see everything in the plan. There are several other companies running the tour, and Im glad I picked Meteora Thrones, and got Clement as our guide. Two other minor things - the activity said it was by train, but there’s wasn’t any train ride… it was all by bus. The other thing is that the same rest stops strangely charged me different prices for the same things in the morning than the evening. It was cheaper in the evening, so I didn’t complain. Other tour groups seem to use the same rest stops, so there aren’t really alternatives. I’d still give the tour and tour guide 5 stars, and the was worth the 4.5 hour road trip each way.

First time I booked Pelago due to the integrity and trust of Singapore Airlines. With some questions, I emailed to Pelago n I got my response very prompt and their service is excellent. However I wish that Pelago is able to provide “phone call” or “chat” service for emergency cases, as sometime waiting for email response May takes a day or so. The day trip to Meteora, Greece goes smoothly and the scenic is beautiful and worth going except that due to the weather condition, travel by train to Kalabaka was changed to coach which is a long distance ride. I am going to book with Pelago for another trip in Santorini.
