Highlights

You can experience how to make traditional Japanese paper, we make Japanese paper by hand, starting from cultivating the kozo tree, which is the raw material. My shop is close to Ueno and Asakusa. You can participate in the workshop with the mascot cat.
We offer "Japanese paper tea" that is not offered elsewhere. We will guide you through the downtown shopping streets of Tokyo that are not listed in guidebooks. You can make a special Japanese paper that cannot be made anywhere else.
We also plan to guide visitors to other unique Japanese places such as cherry blossoms and festivals, depending on the time of year.

However, the content may be changed in case of inclement weather such as rain or extreme heat, or in case of illness.
We have several candidates for making another sheet of Japanese paper or a key ring with mizuhiki, a paper string.
You can choose the one you prefer.

Workshops are basically held at my shop. At the workshop, you can make two postcards. You can choose two of them: normal(White), cotton fiber, or Omikuji paper. You can experience one process from the production of washi raw materials. Hyōhitā (peeling off the outer skin). Washi is made from plants. Tea and sweets are available while drying. This store is loved by locals and serves tea and wagashi made from mulberry leaves. We hope you will look forward to seeing what kind of wagashi we make depending on the season. After your Japanese paper is dry and tea time is over, I will guide you through the downtown shopping district: SATAKE shopping street and Okazu shopping street. Both are areas that are not easily introduced in guidebooks. Both are lined with shops from the 1970s. It reminds of me the good old Showa days. I will also guide you to Torigoe Shrine. If you want a "Goshuin stamp", you can purchase it. We will also guide you to spots that are unique to the downtown area. However, the content may be changed in case of inclement weather such as rain or extreme heat, or in case of illness. My shop has a mascot cat (calico cat) you can attend workshops with her.
