On its foothills hang houses that seem to come from the depths of the ages This is a striking example of the architecture of traditional southern Morocco, on the side of a hill at the top of which was a collective granary (an agadir). The village is presented as a set of earthen buildings surrounded by walls, the ksar, which is a type of traditional pre-Saharan habitat. The Kasbah was for a long time the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech, a high dignitary of Moroccan royalty. The tourists will be able to benefit from the external architecture of the monument having the airs of sand castles: walls of a bronzed red rising towards the sky, crenellated towers with the various corners of the Kasbah.
