Day Hike Details: Morning after breakfast our guide receives you for interesting short drive towards north from the city of Kathmandu to reach at exciting small town of Narayanthan with ancient Hindu temple where you can witness idols of sleeping Lord Vishnu on a bed of serpent within a large water pool. After holy site of Buddhanilkanta short drive to reach at the entrance of Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve at present a Shivapuri National Park. From the entrance gate walk within cool shade of forest with rhododendron-pines-fir-magnolia and oak tree lines, then with short climb and visit Nagi Gompa, a Buddhist monastery for Nuns. With interesting tour of the monastery and observing Nun and priest on religious activities, carry on with climb for few hours in the shade of alpine forested tree line to reach on top Shivapuri Hill at above 2,535 m high.
