The route is famous for goats climbing Argan trees, a bizarre and very interesting thing to spot along the way. The first stop of the journey will be a visit to the local Argan cooperative run entirely by local women. Stroll down the beautiful long coast overlooking the old fortified city and explore local markets in the souks filled with handmade products. Enjoy a camel or horse ride along the charming coast. After visiting the city’s famous spots, take a lunch break in one of the local restaurants. Taste fresh Atlantic fish and seafood, a must-do when visiting Essaouira.
