Highlights
Trek through the dense rainforest of Gunung Bintan with a local guide and conquer Bintan’s highest peak at 340 metres. Soak in the beauty of nature as you marvel at giant ancient trees towering 40 metres above. Be sure to look out for seasonal fruits as well as inhabitants of the forest such as silver leaf monkeys, deer and sunbirds.
As you make your way down, take a dip in a pool known as “Kolam Puteri” or Princess’s Pool. According to local legend, a swim in the clear waters will bring you good luck! Step under the waterfall to receive a cool shower of blessings.

Start with the pre-trek briefing and begin the trek up mount Bintan.Kolam Puteri

Great outing and moderate challenge for newbie!!
It was unexpected as the climb was really steep and very slippery. The website mentioned that it was easy and hence were not mentally prepared at all. There were some parts that were not clearly marked. The climb down was harder. Participants should be well informed.
