Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the early morning. After about an hour drive, you will arrive at the Juyongguan section of the Great Wall. Juyongguan's Great Wall is a very important strategic area, connecting the inner land and the area near the northern border of China. Which is also the site of an ancient military town which is replete with military installations, watch towers, official residences, temples and other structures. The present pass was initially built during the Ming Dynasty and received much renovation later. You will have couple of hours to enjoy the hike here.

Enjoy a lunch of regional cuisine at a local restaurant. Continue on to the old Hutongs. Where is the Beijing old neighborhood, pleople live here generations to generations. Board a rickshaw for a ride through the hutongs. While you weave through the ancient alleys, your guide points out numerous traditional-style gates and shops. Climb up the Drum tower and visit a local family to chat with the locals. You will more understanding the local people's life. After the full-day tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in downtown Beijing.
