Created as a result of a meteor crashing into the area approximately 66 million years ago and used only centuries ago by the indigenous tribe for sacrificial offerings, nowadays this cenote is used by tourists like us who enjoy swimming in clear waters. Lunch is included on today’s tour, near the cenote. Lastly, we visit a colonial town called Valladolid. There we have around 30 minutes to walk around freely.
