For this basic itinerary in southern Bandung, you'd probably be better off signing up with a cheaper group tour instead. The so-called "guide" is basically a driver with almost no guide service. He picked me up from the hotel at 4am to see the sunrise. While I understand that the admission tickets were not included, once we reached the Sunan Ibu Sunrise Point and White Crater entrance, I was told that the admission ticket costed 146K IDR if I took the orange van (with seat belt not working), higher than the rate quoted by the "guide". The rate would be almost double if I wanted the "guide" to drive all the way up. These details were never shown on the experience listing page, or communicated to me via WhatsApp. On the experience listing page, Rengganis Crater is free admission, but I had to pay 100K IDR for the admission. There was no chairs or proper walking path for you to soak your feet in the so-called hot spring - you have to walk painfully bare foot on a stone path (where I even saw a piece of broken glass), before your feet can reach the water. Yet the "guide" even commented that my feet "walked only in shopping centres in Singapore" before. If he said it only once, it could still be taken as a joke. But he said it at least four times to random strangers which was quite embarrassing for me. While the "guide" allows you to customise the day tour, going to Tangkuban Perahu in northern Bandung would require you to top up another 150K IDR at least, less the hefty admission tickets according to the "guide", so I was discouraged from going. Very disappointing experience with many unexpected expenses.
