Kairakuen is one of the three most famous gardens in Japan, along with
Kenrokuen in Kanazawa and Korakuen in Okayama.
Located within Kairakuen Garden, Kobuntei is a two-story, three-storey wooden
building that is said to have been personally designed by Tokugawa Nariaki,
the ninth lord of the Mito domain.
