I had an absolutely unforgettable experience on the Phillip Island Penguin Parade Small Group Eco Tour with Go West Tours, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Jess! The itinerary was perfectly curated from start to finish. We began with a scenic stop at the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes, followed by a visit to Moonlit Sanctuary where we got up close with kangaroos, wallabies, and koalas. The journey continued to Phillip Island’s rugged coastline, including the Nobbies where the ocean views were simply breathtaking. Everything was well-paced, informative, and thoughtfully planned, truly showcasing the best of Victoria’s wildlife and landscapes Jess was exceptional: knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what she does! She kept the group entertained throughout the day with interesting facts, great energy, and clear guidance, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The highlight, of course, was the Penguin Parade at sunset, watching the little penguins waddle ashore was magical and something I’ll never forget. A special thank-you to Jess for her brilliant tip to sit near the grassy areas at the sides of the seating area. That made a huge difference: we got such a close and natural view of the penguins as they made their way up to their burrows. It really elevated the whole experience! Overall, this tour was incredibly well-organised, immersive, and memorable. We really enjoyed our tour yesterday. The bus was comfortable and spacious and the tour was well timed with enough time at each stop. We really enjoyed seeing so many different animals during our day. Michael was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide who offered useful tips throughout the tour to make our day better and to help us maximise our time in Melbourne. A great tour!
