Highlights
The Costa Brava is the name assigned to the coastal area of Spain that begins in Blanes and ends at the border with France, in Portbou. It limits to the north with the Costa Vermella and to the south with the Costa del Maresme. «Costa brava» is, since time immemorial, a locution typical of seafarers. In the seafaring environments, the rugged and rocky coast was called and is called the Costa Brava, with characteristics analogous to the coast of Mallorca but in Girona.
Costa Brava is known for its pine-lined cliffs and rocky headlands. Arrive from Barcelona in an air-conditioned minivan and spend a relaxing day exploring with a small group of travelers. Stop in Blanes with the option of visiting the Marimurtra Botanical Garden or a secluded cove; have free time to shop in Tossa de Mar; and savor a traditional lunch in a restaurant.
Costa Brava day trip offers small-group experience.
Guide offers multiple options to explore coastal towns en route.
