We started at the hotel lobby at the scheduled time and drove to Alto da Boa Vista. Right at the entrance there is a trail that takes us to the Taunay waterfall, we follow the Emperor's Road to the Mayrink Chapel, Lake of the Fairy and Lake of the Solitude Dam.

Driving to the starting point of the trail, we began to climb the Proa rock with a stunning view of Barra da Tijuca beach and the gigantic Gávea rock. Summarizing the Queimado stone and we begin the descent to Mesa do Imperador, where we will stop for a snack before returning to the Castorinha road to Vista Chinesa (stop for photos). Next stop Jardim Botânico. Visiting the arboretum is an opportunity to learn about the history behind its creation, the alleys, the gardens, the flowers and their scents, the birds and their songs, the small animals that inhabit the garden in perfect harmony make the tour unforgettable.
