The hike to the mountain house offers breathtaking views of Lake Como. 17.30: meet at Lavatoio di Mugiasco 17.30 - 18.10: hike on the 'sentiero del viandante', which will pass by a viewpoint of Lake Como (5 minutes for pictures), local mountain houses and woodlands (passing through without stopping) [approx 40 minutes total]. The hike will finish when we arrive at the destination. 18.10 - 20.10: arrival at the mountain house with an inside tour and brief history. Guests will have the chance to sit back, relax and take photos of the viewpoint showing Lake Como / Bellagio. An aperitivo will be served consisting of beverage of choice (aperol spritz, wine, beer, soft drink) and local Italian food (like prosciutto, focaccia, bruschette, burrata, locally grown tomatoes). We will spend approximately two hours at the mountain house, finishing with a view of the sunset before making our way back down to the start point 20.10 - 20.45: hike back down to the starting point
