Quite a disappointing experience. Apparently before u use the train service u need to go to opposite end of the train line to collect your train pass, before taking a train to the Onsen which is on the other end of the line. When I reached the station serving the Onsen at 6pm. You see a notice that states the last train service ends at 7pm. The Onsen opens till 9pm. There was no such indication on the ticket. In fact, the only information regarding the train tickets states that they are open till almost midnight. No refunds or deferments were entertained as well.
