Why is the amount I paid higher than the price shown on the activity page?

Updated over a month ago

You may notice that the final price charged at checkout is different from what you saw on the product page or calendar.

This can happen for a few common reasons:

  1. Dynamic pricing

Some experiences apply dynamic pricing. This means the price can change depending on demand, season, or availability.

    1. For example:

      1. The price shown on the calendar may update when you confirm your booking

      2. Prices may vary depending on the date or number of tickets selected

      3. Prices can also change from day to day based on demand or availability

  2. Currency conversion

Some experiences are priced in a different currency. But don’t worry! The price you see will always be in your preferred booking currency.
Sometimes, this can make the final amount a little higher or lower than what was shown, depending on exchange rates at the time of booking.
