Are taxes and fees included in my hotel booking

Some taxes and fees are included in the amount you pay Pelago, while others may need to be paid directly to the hotel. Follow these steps to check before your stay.

Step 1 Check what you paid Pelago

  1. Open your hotel booking confirmation or voucher.

  2. Find the Price details or Total amount paid section.

  3. Check whether it says that taxes and fees are included.

Step 2 Check for charges payable at the hotel

Some charges are set by local authorities or the hotel and are not collected by Pelago. These can include:

  • City or tourist taxes

  • Resort fees

  • Parking charges

These charges vary by destination and are usually paid directly to the hotel at check-in or check-out.

Step 3 Review the details before you travel

  • Check the Price details section on your booking page or voucher.

  • Look for charges marked as “What’s excluded” on the checkout page, these will be payable at the hotel.
