Zhangjiajie is a famous tourist destination but only a small Chinese city. As such it is moderately accessible by air and train from the major tourism cities in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Guilin. The most convenient way is by air. 

The most convenient way is by air from Zhangjiejia to other cities. But if there is no directly flight from Zhangjiajie, then you need flight from Changsha. You know, the best way is use the PRIVATE CAR to Changsha area from Zhangjiajie.
