Highlights
Theravada Buddhism is the State religion of Sri Lanka practiced by 70.2% of the Sri Lanka's population. After the formalities at the airport you will be escorted to your air-conditioned vehicle and proceed to Kandy, check in to the hotel and relax. Despite the fact that the city is occupied, yet subsequent to entering to a Temple all of a sudden, your mind will be quiet. There are a few well known Buddhist Temples in and around Colombo you can visit popular Temples, for example, GANGARAMAYA, BELLANWILA VIHARAYA, MANELWATTA RAJA MAHA VIHARAYA. In the evening you can partake for a pooja ceremony at Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara. On completion of the visit return back to the hotel and relax.
