Montepulciano's History goes back to Etruscan ages (IV century B.C.). You'll enter through its medieval walls and will take a walk across, surrounded by buildings going back to the 15th century (A.D.). You'll have the chance to taste Montepulciano's wine (in particular, Rosso di Montalcino). Here in Montepulciano you can have lunch, in one of the (local) restaurants or even in a cellar (with wine tasting too upon availability), according to your wishes. Otherwise, lunch can be in (or around) Montalcino.
