It is the most popular wildlife sanctuary in southern India, covering a large area of 777 sq. Kms. The sanctuary was made a part of Project Tiger in 1973, but it is better known for the elephants. In the afternoon, proceed for a plantation tour of the Spice Village property offered by the hotel.
