The beach ride takes place on 16Mile beach the longest uninterrupted beach in South Africa, only an hour’s drive from Cape Town.

Explore the longest uninterrupted beach in South Africa on horse back. Join West Coast Horse Trails in exploring this amazing beach forming part of the coastal town Yzerfontein. This is a bucket list adventure! Even if you do not want to complete the whole ride on horse back we can offer to take photos and videos of you during part of the allotted time with your phone or we can arrange a professional photographer at an additional cost We DO NOT have scheduled times as our rides are dependent on the low tide, which varies from day to day Please ensure prior to the ride that you have confirmed your start time with us
