Discover Hidden Shinjuku – Local Walking Tour
・After the show, meet your NINJA guide and begin your adventure by passing beneath the iconic red gate of Kabukicho Ichibangai.
・Walk through the dazzling energy of Shinjuku's neon streets before the atmosphere suddenly changes and a peaceful “hidden shrine” appears.
・This rare spiritual spot is named after the “King of Demons” from Japanese folklore. The shrine is believed to bring prosperity in business and good health. It is also home to the mysterious Kaeru Stone: pouring water over it is said to bring good fortune back to you—a play on the Japanese word “kaeru,” meaning both “frog” and “to return.” Join your NINJA guide and experience a traditional Japanese prayer ritual.
・In the second half of the tour, visit Golden Gai, where the atmosphere of postwar Japan still remains.
・Hidden between Shinjuku's high-rise buildings, its maze-like alleys are packed with around 280 tiny bars, creating a scene reminiscent of a movie set.
・Conclude your journey at Hanazono Shrine, dedicated to the deity of entertainment and the performing arts.
・After the tour, enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the restaurants recommended by your NINJA guide.
