Dazu is a place known worldwide for being the home of Rock Carving. Located in the west suburb of Chongqing City, a city in the mountains surrounded by two rivers. The city is sometimes called the 'Capital of Fog' because it is often enveloped by heavy fog.
The art of Dazu emerged as early as the year 618 and has survived since to be a big part of China's cultural and religious heritage. We are therefore giving you the incredible opportunity to discover this unique craftsmanship and learn about its history. Our guide will pick you up early in the morning at your hotel lobby and will transfer you back to the same spot at the end of the tour.
