Athens to Meteora - landscape photography at the dusk

24 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeWe'll pick you up from your hotel in Athens at 8.00 a.m., to start with our private van or car the 4 hours journey to Meteora. During the drive, you will have the opportunity to get to know with the photographer and this first contact will bring with it an array of questions, queries and answers in preparation for the surprises that your photography trip will give you. As soon as you settle in at the hotel, you will enjoy some local food in one of the traditional tavernas around. Then, the afternoon is all yours to capture the sublime scenery. The photographer will lead you to the vantage points to pass you on the best techniques, tips and tricks for overwhelming landscape shots. Millions of opportunities for superb landscape photography as you capture the scenery from all possible perspectives from the bottom up to the top of the rock pillars for a panoramic spectacle. Each day will be followed by a critique and editing review of your photos led by the instructor.- Accommodations4star hotel Grand Meteora or depending on the availbility of the timeat in another hotel of equal standards
Meteora - Monasteries life and selected landscape shots

24 hoursAdmission Ticket Not IncludedThe second day will be divided between visiting and capturing the monasteries and some more selective shots of the landscape. In the morning, you will focus on the monasteries’ life – wherever we are allowed to– as evolved in time, mingling with pilgrims & travellers from all over the world and taking the opportunity for some intriguing photography compositions and themes. With the photographer by your side, you will learn how to navigate your surroundings and work with light, colour, background, and other influences and challenges inherent in each unique setting. After a short lunch break, you'll have a second photo shooting of the scenery from another more surprising aspect!
