This walk has its beginning in Referta and ends in Castelejo. This is an easy and pleasant walk where you have the chance to see, in between the cultivated terraces, the vineyard responsible for the production of the famous american wine. You will have the opportunity to see the famous Eagle Rock (Penha d’Águia).

This walk will take you along a Levada path in Porto da Cruz. Please prepare yourself with good walking shoes/boots and a warm coat (in case of low temperatures in the mountains). Also pack a picnic and water to take along.
