Enjoy a roughly 2 hours ride through the country side of Chongqing then get to Baoding site, the major part of Dazu Carvings. Dazu rock carvings is a massive ancient Buddhsim stone carving was built in Song dynasty, 800 years old. Over 10'000 statues were carved on vertical cliff, pretty much represents Chinese ancient religious art style and carving skill. Meawhile it's also functions like a Buddhism institute and holy site bring prayers and redemption to all Buddists. In 1999 Dazu Rock Carvings were inscribed on World Heritage List by UNESCO.
