The territory of today's Montenegro has a large number of monasteries, churches and temples of various religious confessions. Montenegrins are very religious people, the majority of the population are members of the Orthodox religion. With ‘Monte Mare Travel’ in this tour, you will visit three largest sanctuaries in Montenegro and find out interesting stories about relics (the right hand of John the Baptist, a peace the Holy Cross and the icon Philermos) in Cetinje Monastery, Saint Vasily in Ostrog monastery, as well as frescoes of post Byzantine period in Morača monastery. Also, in this tour, you will be able to see historical part of Old Royal Capital – Cetinje.

  • Cetinje Monastery

    Departure by appointment. Driving towards Cetinje - 45 min to 1 hour and 30 min, depending on the place - city of departure. We will walk through the historical part of this town. We will visit the Cetinje Monastery, pass next to Ćipuri church, Biljarda, King Nicola's museum, the Presidential Palace and take a walk on the main pedestrian street – 1 hour.

  • Ostrog Monastery

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
    Departure by appointment. Driving towards Cetinje - 45 min to 1 hour and 30 min, depending on the place - city of departure. We will walk through the historical part of this town. We will visit the Cetinje Monastery, pass next to Ćipuri church, Biljarda, King Nicola's museum, the Presidential Palace and take a walk on the main pedestrian street – 1 hour.

  • Moraca Monastery

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
    Driving to Morača monastery – approx. 1 hour. Free time for sightseeing and enjoying peace and enchanting ambience of Morača monastery – 45 min. Lunch at the restaurant on the way to the place of accommodation - optionally (approx. 1h). Return. The end of the tour.
