Here you can stroll along the grounds of a functioning, historical Lighthouse, taking in the views of the ocean and bird life. On your journey, I will enthral you with stories and legends of the peninsula. Learn about the creation of 'Football Special', Ramelton's answer to Coca-Cola. Visit Rathmullan, the site of one of the most important events in Irish history, 'The Flight of the Earls'. Then cross the politically placed 'Bridge to Nowhere'. We'll walk the ruins of Doe castle which overlooks Sheephaven bay and hear of the clan that built it.
