You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the banks of Lake Pichola from where you will take a boat ride on the lake. Lake Pichola is an artificial lake that was built in the 14th century and is named after the nearby village of Picholi. A visit to Udaipur is incomplete without a boat ride on this lake that offers some stunning views of the city. Situated in the middle of the lake are the islands of Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas. You can see the beautiful palaces built on these two islands. The James Bond film, Octopussy was shot in the backdrop of these islands. As the sun goes down, you can see the lights of Udaipur city at a distance as you approach the island of Jag Mandir. The lights of the island palaces and their shimmering reflection in the waters of the lake offer a perfect ending to a beautiful sunset. Once your tour will be finished you will be driven back to fixed point / your hotel.
