Ever wondered what the art of photography was like in the past? We are a duo of photographers -Pablo (Granada) and Hedvig (Norway)- running a photo-studio inside a cave at the heart of Sacromonte. We are specialized in “Wet Plate Collodion portraiture” one of the earliest photographic processes, from 1851. We believe in photography as a physical object crafted with care and dedication and brought into the world to last. We work with vintage cameras and lenses, historical formulas, and the touch of sunlight onto silver to produce your portrait. The whole process is entirely handcrafted and delivers images of outstanding character and extraordinary detail. Come alone, with a friend, partner or family and sit for a portrait session. Each portrait session is an unique experience in collaboration with you. The result is a “one-of-a-kind” portrait, artist signed and original certified. You choose if you want your portrait on black glass (ambrotype) or metal (tintype). Book your portrait session and make sure you’re not in a rush. Approximated duration 90 minutes.
