Ready for the ultimate joy ride? The Herschell Carousel Factory Museum is a historic carousel factory building that'll leave you spinning!


Feel the nostalgia strike you as you explore the different sections, and witness two operating carousels that'll give you a firsthand experience of the magical ride and its authentic corresponding band organ music. The Jeanette E. Jones Children's Gallery gives the little ones lots of interactive opportunities to learn and play.


The Wurlitzer Music Department is home to over ten historic band organs and features the only functioning Wurlitzer Perforator still in existence. The museum still operates this equipment and produces bad organ rolls from Wurlitzer's rolls list. Let your inner child out to play!

Must Know
Rides are based on height. Children between 34 and 52 inches tall are able to ride the Kiddie Cars, Pony Carts, Wet Boats and Kiddie Carousel.
Pre Purchase
Alcohol is not permitted at the museum. Personal lunches, snacks, and beverages are permitted. Picnic tables are available outside, weather permitting.
