    The "torta al testo" is an ancient, unleavened bread, which owes its name to the cast iron pan, the "testo", on which the dough was cooked. A few gestures of expert and loving hands, and we will find ourselves in a world of genuine flavors and aromas, in the heart of the Umbrian culinary tradition. A simple yet so precious recipe that will delight your palate! This morning, we will reach a farmhouse and farm near Assisi to attend an interesting cooking class of about 3 hours during which you will learn how to prepare the famous "torta al testo". Before the course, we will make a visit to the farm, to get in touch with their agricultural traditions and then we will reach the kitchen. During the lesson, together with our expert cook, you will learn all the secrets to best prepare this traditional dish: the ingredients needed, the utensils, the way the dough is prepared, extended and baked, up to the way the cake is served. At the end of the lesson, you can enjoy a delicious lunch with the "pie al testo" stuffed with the best of local butchery, and other products including organic accompanied by a good wine.
