Over the years, millions of the faithful have flocked to the small village of Lourdes nestled at the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains in Southwestern France where it is said the sick can be healed miraculously. In 1858, the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared eighteen times to a local girl, Bernadette. We will visit the famous Grotto of Massabielle where Bernadette experienced her visions and where the healing spring flows. We will visit the Rosary, St. Pius X, and Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Basilicas, as well as the healing baths, the candle trolleys, Bernadette's home, the jail she and her family lived in, among other Bernadette-related sites.

The Basilica of Saint Pius X, informally known as the Underground Basilica, is a large Roman Catholic Church and minor basilica, located in the town of Lourdes.
