The pace was good as it is small group tour of 9pax. Our guide Aoi recommended many photo spots and helped us take photos which I am very grateful of as a solo traveler. It would be good if her pronunciation can be better as a few of us have problems understanding her English sometimes. A glass bottle of water is provided in the van which makes the tour more sustainable for environment.
A photogenic and educational day to learn about the Ayutthaya Summer Palace and Temples. At each of the sites, after a brief history lesson and insights into the Thai culture by our excellent tour guide Ratima, we got time to explore the sites. Lunch was at a riverside restaurant that was air-conditioned, a welcome reprieve from touring these sites in long pants all day. Thanks to Ratima, Thailand's history and people now make more sense to this first time traveler to Asia. Would highly recommend this tour!
Participated this tour on 23Nov Sunday 8am. Booked Big Bus Tour initially however was upgraded to small group tour complimentary guessed due to insufficient participants. Meeting up at National Stadium BTS Station Exit 2 was a breeze. Guide name : Boy and Driver ( name Biman hope I spelled correctly ) was good. Overall thanks to the kind cooling weather by noon the sun was sunny however is still manageable. Is worth to do the trip and lunch venue was clean and rest room too. Food prices were very reasonably priced. IMO 4 sites should be ample as by the 5th sites, all participants were almost worn out. Generally is worth doing this tour however definitely not during the summer season March - October Ideally Mid November till late January when weather is still pleasant.
We had an unforgettable day exploring Ayutthaya thanks to Eddy’s superb guidance. His warm personality and knack for storytelling truly brought each temple and historic site to life. He knew just when to offer intriguing historical context and when to give us space to soak in the atmosphere on our own.
Great experience with Eddie. Visited 5 temples in total.
Well organized. Not tiring.
