Join us in exploring the historical heart of Prague on both sides of the Vltava River. We will depart from Old Town Square, cross Charles Bridge to veer off the main tourist path, leaving the bustling thoroughfare to discover the charming nooks and crannies of Lesser Town. Not to be missed are the famous Lennon Wall and the world's longest-standing Grand Priory of the Maltese Knights.

    The smaller tower is Romanesque, dating from the 12th century; its current Renaissance appearance dates to 1591. The taller Late Gothic tower from 1464 is based on the architecture of Parléř's Old Town Bridge Tower. From its viewing gallery, you get a stunning view of the flowing Vltava River and the historical city centre.

  • John Lennon Wall

    Shortly after the death of John Lennon, this stone wall surrounding the Maltese Gardens was transformed into an impromptu memorial with a painting of the singer's face. Now it is decorated by a portrait of John Lennon and pictures created by more than 30 artists from five countries.

    Our route will then take us downhill to the heart of the Lesser Town (Malá Strana), a site of the oldest medieval Prague settlement and one of the most beautiful Baroque churches in the city.
